iPlay

One loop. Every game.

iPlay is a sign-up board at the table that records the result and creates the rankings. Not a league, not a bracket — a verified match is the unit, and everything else hangs off it.

  1. 01

    Play

A bar, an arcade, a basement, a break room. Any game on the catalogue.

  2. 02

    Report

One of you taps the score as you go and reports the result.

  3. 03

    Verify

The other verifies from their own phone. Both players — never the table.

  4. 04

    Rank

Both ratings move at once. Locally, in your city, worldwide.

  5. 05

    Reward

Perks from the house, published prizes from Challenges you qualify for.

  6. 06

    Play again

Rack it up. Your number follows you to the next room.

A losing record can outrank a winning one.

That is not a bug — it is the whole point. Beating the three weakest players in your bar forty times tells us almost nothing. Losing 5–4 to the best player in the city tells us a great deal. iPlay ranks on who you played and how close it was, rack by rack, using Glicko-2 rather than a win counter.

And the number cannot be farmed. Repeat matchups against the same person count for steadily less, your rank is held back until you have played enough different people, and a result only counts once both players verify it. A venue or station can additionally verify where the game happened.

Every place can play

A Commercial Venue is a verified public business. A Private Room is anywhere else people play — a basement, a clubhouse, an office. A game in either counts exactly the same.

No Commercial Venue is listed near you yet. Create a Private Room for wherever you play, or claim your venue — both take a minute.

Everything on the network

One account covers the lot. Nothing here needs a bracket, a sign-up sheet or a free evening.

Free to play, report, verify and see tonight's board wherever you are. Membership keeps a permanent profile, your complete history and worldwide rankings — never a result.

Rankings, recognition, and published prizes

The current iPlay service does not offer wagering or player-funded prize pools. As verified play grows, iPlay and its sponsors can fund larger events and player rewards under the appropriate legal and regulatory framework.

A Challenge's prize is published and fixed before it opens. Disagreeing with a score costs nobody anything; a game one player does not verify simply counts for no one.

Every game counts. Every place can play.

Five verified matches against three different people and you are ranked. After that, every game you play anywhere counts toward the same number.
